Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026. The short version: your images are your private property. Every tool on this site, including every AI tool, processes images locally in your web browser, so your files never touch our servers. There are no accounts and no sign-up, so we hold no profile about you (section 5).

ImgVX AI (imgvx.com) is operated by Ismail Farooq, a sole proprietor based in Lahore, Pakistan, who is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@imgvx.com.

1. Local In-Browser Processing (Zero Server Uploads)

Every tool on ImgVX AI runs entirely within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly (Wasm), WebGPU and Web Workers. When you open an image, it is read directly into your device's local memory and processed on your device's hardware. Your images, EXIF metadata, and generated files are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party infrastructure. We do not have access to your photos, and we cannot view, store, or log them.

2. AI Tools Run on Your Device

Tools marked with the AI badge (such as background removal, upscaling, object removal and colorizing) use open-source AI models that run inside your browser, on your own graphics card (WebGPU) or processor (WebAssembly). The first time you use one, your browser downloads the model file from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) or from this site (imgvx.com or models.imgvx.com), and the AI runtime from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), and keeps them in its cache for next time. Those downloads are ordinary file requests: your image is not part of them and is never sent anywhere. Like any website, those services see your IP address and browser details when they deliver the files. You can clear the cached models at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

To keep ImgVX AI free to use for everyone, we show advertisements served by Google AdSense on tool, guide and blog pages, and Amazon product recommendations (section 6). There are no ads inside the Studio editor or on the policy pages.

What that means for you:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to ImgVX AI and/or other sites across the World Wide Web.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings or via My Ad Center.
• Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative (aboutads.info) or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance at Your Online Choices.
• For comprehensive details on how Google handles and protects data when you use partner sites, visit How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used, and can change that choice at any time from the Privacy and cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

4. Cookies, Local Storage & Edge Analytics

We respect your privacy and minimize all data storage:

• Local Storage: We use your browser's localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference, and a little display state such as your approximate country (used only to decide whether Amazon recommendations are shown, and which Amazon store they link to), which recommendations you have already seen, and the date and time of your last page view (so a visit is counted once, below). This information stays on your device; clearing this site's data removes it.
• Visit and tool-use counts: When you open a page or use a tool, your browser tells our server, for example “a page was viewed” or “the Background Remover was used”. The server adds one to that day’s total, together with the country Cloudflare reports for the request. No IP address, cookie, identifier or anything about your image is stored with it; we only see daily totals.
• Advertising Cookies: Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, as described in section 3.
• No Invasive Trackers: Beyond the advertising and analytics services described in this policy, we do not deploy fingerprinting scripts or session-recording tools.
• AI Model Cache: AI models you have used are stored in your browser's Cache Storage so they do not have to be downloaded again. They contain no personal data.
• Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics): On imgvx.com we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which tools are used. It uses cookies and collects pseudonymous data such as pages viewed, device and browser type and approximate location; we do not send it your images. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland it only uses cookies after you agree in the consent message. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) counts page views and measures page load speed with a small script that sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. We see only aggregated totals, never individual visitors.

5. No Accounts

ImgVX AI has no accounts: there is no sign-up and no login, and the tools never ask for your name or email address. If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to answer you.

Accounts made before 23 October 2026. Until then, using the tools needed a free account (Google Firebase Authentication) and Pro and credit packs were sold through Creem. For those accounts we still hold the email address, name, credit history and any payment records in our database at Cloudflare; payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. We no longer use this data for anything, send no emails, and will delete an account on request: email us from its address.

6. Amazon Associates Affiliate Disclosure

ImgVX AI is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon (amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.nl, amazon.se and amazon.pl). Visitors from the United States, Canada and Europe see product recommendations; the links go to amazon.com, and Amazon sends you on to your nearest Amazon store. When you click one, Amazon may set a referral cookie to track qualifying purchases. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases; this costs you nothing extra, and every Amazon box on the site is marked Sponsored and carries this disclosure. The links are plain links: no Amazon script runs on our pages.

7. Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Under regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have enforceable rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Know / Access: Because our tools process images locally on your device and there are no accounts, we hold no user image files and no profile of visitors. Holders of an account from before 23 October 2026 may request a copy of their account record and credit history, and anyone may request a copy of their correspondence with us.
• Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): You may ask us to delete an old account and any correspondence with us at any time. Payment records that tax law requires us or Creem to keep are kept for that period only.
• Right to Rectification and Portability: You may ask us to correct an old account’s details or to send you its data in a portable format.
• Do Not Sell or Share: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or image files. Google's advertising cookies (section 3) may count as “sharing” for personalized advertising under some US state laws; you can opt out at any time with the links in section 3.

8. Children’s Privacy

ImgVX AI is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
