Panorama Stitcher: how to use it
- Drop in two or more photos, in order from left to right (or top to bottom).
- Choose the Direction: side by side or stacked.
- Set the Overlap and how the images Align, then download the joined image.
Tips
- This joins images edge to edge with an overlap you set. It does not match features automatically, so shoot with the same zoom and height for each frame.
- Stacked is useful for joining several phone screenshots into one long image.
Panorama Stitcher: what it does and when to use it
The Panorama Stitcher joins two or more photos into one long image, side by side or stacked, in the order you add them. Overlap slides each photo over the previous one by the percentage you set, and the overlapping strip is blended with a gradient so the join is soft rather than a hard line. Align decides whether photos of different heights line up at the top, centre or bottom.
It is a manual stitcher: it does not search the photos for matching features or correct lens distortion. It works well for scans of a document or map in parts, screenshots of a long page, simple product lineups and photos taken with a steady camera turned carefully between shots.
Handheld landscape panoramas with near and far objects will show visible seams, because each shot sees the scene from a slightly different position. For those, your phone camera's built-in panorama mode or dedicated desktop stitching software will match the photos far better. To place photos side by side with gaps instead, use the Photo Collage Maker.
Panorama Stitcher: frequently asked questions
Is the Panorama Stitcher free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes, the Panorama Stitcher is 100% free with no sign-up, no login and no account. The Panorama Stitcher runs in your browser, so it has no daily limit and no upload, and saves at full size with no watermark. See why it is free.
How do I combine photos side by side?
Select the photos in order, choose side by side or stacked, and set how much they overlap. The overlap is blended so the join is soft. Use Photo Collage Maker to put photos in a grid instead.
How do I take photos for a panorama?
Stand in one place, keep the camera level, and turn it between shots so each photo overlaps the last by about a quarter. Keep the same exposure for every shot. Related tool: Image Cropper.
How do I post a panorama on Instagram?
