How are these different from the Image Filters tool?
Image Filters gives you the individual sliders. These are finished looks that change several things at once: they tint the shadows and highlights separately, lift the blacks for a faded print, and some add grain or a vignette. The Strength slider blends each look with your original.
Can I use the same look on a whole set of photos?
Yes. The looks are fixed recipes, so the same look at the same strength gives the same result on every photo, which keeps an Instagram grid or a photo album consistent.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Aesthetic Filters runs entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API. The file is read from your device, processed on your device, and the result is handed straight back to you. It never travels to a server, so there is nothing for us to store, log or leak.
Is it free, and is there a limit?
It is free with no account and no watermark. Because the work happens on your own hardware there is no per-image cost to us, so there is no quota. The only real limit is your device's memory: images beyond roughly 40 megapixels are refused rather than crashing the tab.
